Does not work with OSX.Nov 05, 2007

"Stay Ahead of The Power Curve!"
Does not work with any Intel based Mac, according to Belkin's website. I made the mistake of not researching it ahead of time.

Doesn't work!Feb 16, 2007

"TG"
This is a software-controlled device, does not have any method to switch manually (as you might expect,) and does not come with any cables.
The problem is that the device simply doesn't work: I have tried belkin's software, on both windows xp sp2, and mac os x 10.4. The device does not switch between port one and two--ever, it is stuck on port one.
Save your money and buy something else, this is a bad deal.

No customer support, broken productJan 19, 2007
By Tallas I bought this thing to act as a bottom-of-the-barrel KVM switch for a USB keyboard and mouse. Yes, the thing only has one output, but let me continue: I was able to hook this up to a powered USB 2.0 hub (in this case my monitor), and have it output everything on that hub to a PC and a Macbook.
In theory this should have worked, and indeed it was able to output to one computer correctly (the 1st output). However, either a hardware or software problem caused the second output to never be switched to (using a key combination). For a while I simply kept this on my desk, swapping the 2 USB outputs to act as a switch. I tried it as a conventional device as well, and never got the software to switch there either.
I contacted Belkin about this, was given a "sorry our customer service is overwhelmed" message, this about 6 months ago. I haven't heard from them yet, and never got an RMA either.
In short, this product was broken, and Belkin's support is nonexistent. Buyer beware.

Printer SwitchNov 04, 2006
By Chris Knittel A Low Cost alternative to Wireless Switching. This Printer share device works exactly as designed. Flawless, quick switch from one computer to another. Easy to install the software on both computers, plug in the cables to your usb ports, and "presto"! works Great. Only bad part is cables are not provided :~(
