May not be what you are looking for...Nov 18, 2009
By Lord Slaygon I purchased this pad because my legs were getting numb from poor circulation due to the bad padding in my office chair. I spend eight hours in this chair so I needed it to be more comfortable. I purchased this pad hoping it would do the trick. Unfortunately it does not. I am 6' 2" tall and weigh 260 lbs. My waist size is 40". I am a big guy. Here are the pros and cons: Pro - Well made, memory foam is great stuff when used in thick enough pieces. Pro - Will probably work well for imps and elves. Pro - Price is reasonable. Con - Small seat area. Leaves approx. 2" of normal office chair seating surface uncovered. Con - Too thin. Compresses to a hard 1/2" thick rubber pad. I would not recommend this pad to anyone over 100 lbs. Seriously. The foam is not thick enough to support even that amount of weight. It would need to be larger (additional 2" to 3" width and depth) and thicker (additional 2" height) to really function properly. If you are over 100 lbs. suggest either buying a nicer chair, or purchasing a bigger cotton stuffed pad.

Great cushionOct 11, 2006

I ordered this cushion for my rather large desk chair at work- and it works great! The foam is very thick, but conforms to the body to support it well. The cushion is tapered at the front to prevent pressure on the legs. I would highly recommend this to improve posture and support while working at a desk. I am buying a second one to keep at home so when I work at my kitchen table on my laptop I am at the proper height.
I also am an adult with ADHD Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and find this cushion allows me to sit for longer periods of time without becoming restless. I also used to find myself sitting on my leg or heel, but with the cushion I am better at keeping both feet on the ground while I am sitting at my desk or table.
Kensington makes great products- I also love the Kensington laptop stand for my desk at school that I also ordered on Amazon as well.

The best chair cushion so farMay 02, 2009
By Y. Chen The cushion of my chair became pretty much useless after a half year purchasing the chair, and therefore I started to try putting on chair cushions. The first one I tried was, Obus Forme because of good rating. However, when I tried it, it was disappointing. The cushion itself is not bad, but I can feel the wire beneath, and it is just awkward and not very comfortable for me. Since I have open the package and tried sitting on it, I could not return and have to sell it, but considering shipping and reduced price, there was pretty much no difference if I jut throw it away. Then, this is the product I tried next. So for I have been using for a month. Cushion is good. Because it is memory foam, it fit you no matter what position you are. It definitely reduces pressure on but. I like this product.

bummerNov 08, 2007
By mp0363 after reading some good reviews, i was really looking forward to this cushion. what a let down!
since i have always had trouble with my sit bones (even on leather cushy chairs) and ending up with a numb butt, thought this might solve it.
out of the box it feels nice and thick and squishy but sadly flattens out after just a few minutes (i weigh 175 lbs.) it's no better than sitting on a folded blanket.
