"badge punch"Jul 03, 2007
By Marty Gear I attend a number of conventions, both business and social and I either end up poking holes in my clothes or having something dangling from my neck and getting in my way. My solution was to purchase the above product which punches a nice rectangular hole in the badge, plastic room key, etc. which I can then clip to mu clothing with a salvaged "snap clip". It works wonderfully. The above product is professional grade and easily will punch through multiple layers of paper & plastic. A very fine special purpose tool, and the company shipped the same day as my order.

Good for our small group's purposesOct 21, 2008

This product works pretty well for our purposes in punching about 60-100 nametags per year. My one complaint is that the adjustable paper gauge does not hold in place very well.

Overall I am really satisfied with this product, I don't feel I have to buy a different model at a much expensive price. I think this one does a great job as well as the expensive ones.
And Shoplet (the company that sold me this product) is great to work with.
My McGill slot punchDec 12, 2011
By Fred This slot puch is great. I has a clean cut that doesn't damage the stock I am punching slots in.
DecentOct 18, 2011
By Mike The only complaint I have about this hole punch is that the depth guide/guard tends to slip. It's easy enough to set the guard for the depth of the badges you wish to punch, however when you insert a badge into the punch, it pushes the guide back so you lose your pre-set depth. You have to basically hold the guard in place while you make the punch. Quite frustrating when you are attempting to punch numerous badges.
