This product works very well for holding confidential information. The lock box has plenty of room, and has room for hanging files. The combination lock is easy to use. I recommend it for securing confidential documents.

This is a fine case and sturdy, not made from cardboard, but not something a determined person couldn't break into with a screw driver either. I got it because I didn't want to buy a whole filing cabinet, but the old cardboard file I had wasn't big enough anymore.
My main beef is that I got the "Ampad Envirotec 100% Recycled Colored Hanging File Folders, Letter Size (8.5 x 11), Assorted Colors" with it, and they were too narrow for the rails. I used some pliers to bend out the rails a bit and they work alright, but it's not optimal. I don't know if this thing is built too wide, or if the folders are too narrow, but one of them is broken.
The lid stays open on its own if you open it all the way (just past 90 degrees).
As for the pockets up at the top, the pen slots are too tight for anything but the skinniest little pens. There is a small pocket that's are good for business cards and ids and a larger one that fits my passport perfectly. Behind them is a larger deep pocket which is hard to get into, the lip of the lid is in the way, however at least things don't fall out of it.

This is a great filing organizer for you documents. I personally utilize the Financial Planning Organizer Worksheets inside for superior archiving. If you want to organize your life in a stylish fashion, it's defintely the one to buy

This file folder seems fine. I would be happy with it, except the lock didn't work. I called the company and there is no universal code, so I have to send it back. Again, I'm fine with that. However, it has been three weeks, three phone calls, and no one has sent me a return packing label. I'm disappointed in the customer service.

I purchased these to purge and replace a large particle board file cabinet. I wanted to store items that are not frequently used, history of township and home, warranties and manuals, old tax returns, etc. I was able to get everything I needed to store into two of these and even fully packed are not so heavy I cannot easily pick them up. Handle on top is comfortable. The metal slide that hanging folders go on bent inward a little with the weight and size of my files but bent right back. Hanging folders slide easily along rails. Won't need locks but nice feature. Would purchase more in the future if needed.
