HP still makes a great printerOct 12, 2010

Welty We have several other HP models which have been reliable but when we were shopping for a new printer our computer consultants tried to sway us from HP, but the deal on Amazon was too good to pass up. This is a heavy duty machine that puts up with hundreds of pages per day without a glitch. I've been using it for a few years and it has been problem and maintenance free.

Our office has two of these printers and they do get a lot of use. The second one was put in service a week ago. They print great and they are fast. The only complaint that I have about them is that even in "economy mode", they use a lot of toner. That can pose a real problem in locations that do high volume printing like we do. I cannot find any data on HP's website as to how many print jobs a toner cartridge should produce.
