5In fairness to HP...Apr 23, 2011
By Lego Fan
Keep in mind that ordering "new" HP carts is one thing, actually getting "new" HP carts is another.

Buy from a legitimate dealer who sells real HP carts and they work great, but keep in mind that some 3rd party sellers try to sell refilled carts as "new", when they aren't.

Buy from a 3rd party seller who uses Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and you don't have to hassle with that, because the inventory is stored from, and shipped by Amazon. If it isn't right, Amazon will provide a prompt and friendly refund and pay for return shipping, you never have to "ask" for it to be made right, since Amazon takes care of all customer service for such orders.

It is kind of deceiving in the ad as the cartridge is pictured in a box and looks new. The ad
calls them NEW. However when said items (I ordered 2 of them) arrived in mail,
they are enclosed only in cellophane. There is no box and they appear to be old stock.

One of the cartridges says 2006 and the other 2010. I am not sure if these are cartridges that
have been refilled or why they have old dates and are not in a box. I have not tried using them as my current
ink cartridges are not empty yet. I will be very interested to see how they work.

5A Reliable Odor-Free InkMar 10, 2011
By David Bower
My HP Officejet d135 uses this ink and has done a great job with it for several years. I don't print all that much but when I do I want a sharp crisp copy and the Officejet, using this ink, has done an excellent job for me every time I use it.

Another benefit is its freedom from any odor; I tried a remanufactured cartridge on my wife's printer and the odor was so bad we couldn't finish using the ink and had to replace it. This ink is more expensive than a remanufactured cartridge but it works like it's supposed to and doesn't smell bad; that's a pretty good swap-off in my opinion.

There is nothing more frustrating than HP cartridges. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. In either case, they're expensive and a hassle to return. For example, you have to make sure that the expiration date (which seems to be a gnat's lifetime) hasn't passed. Then, if you have one that hasn't expired, you may get the "BAD PRINTER HEAD" message. There are so many things that go wrong with HP cartridges that I am replacing my HP printer with a different brand. I'm tired of the money I'm spending on the cartridges and the time I've spent making sure that they work.
