Looked awesome but Amazon and Fedex are terrible togetherMar 20, 2013

I have been wanting to purchase this chair for a very long time, of course the price tag is the main reason for my hesitation and the fact that I can't go to my local store and actually try the chair before I buy. Anyways, I've had the most terrible experience purchasing this chair from Amazon. The first chair I received was delivered by FedEx and the box was torn, taped improperly, and had holes all over it where the chair had been moving during transit inside the box. When I opened the box the chair was damaged either at Amazon or by FedEx, the arm part broke completely off and the chair had scrape marks on the fabric like it fell off the box and on to cement which would probably explain why it looked like the box was crushed/opened and retaped with really cheap tape.
I called Amazon and they immediately offered me a replacement so I went ahead and got a replacement so I waited another week to receive the chair and lo and behold the arm rest wasn't damaged this time but the back support was. The box says it should be lifted by two people and when FedEx delivered it was done so by a small, skinny person that was barely able to lift it 2 inches off the ground. He dropped it and popped the wheel off which came flying out the box in one of the many holes the box already had. To make a long story short I just got a full refund and had Amazon have UPS come pick up this item from my residence.
For anybody thinking about getting this chair if you can avoid Amazon do so, or have them ship it via UPS. I wasted almost three weeks trying to get this chair properly delivered and in the end I got nothing for my trouble.
