 Heavy Duty and Solid QualityJan 20, 2011

I have bought several of these...I've used them for air conditioners, refrigerators, microwave ovens, etc. I'm currently using one to supply power to a power strip that I have my coffee pot plugged into. It's a good dorm room cord mostly because it won't begin to overheat before a circuit breaker trips.
PROS:
15 AMP capacity; safe for all standard household loads that run on 15 AMP circuits, including air conditioners and portable space heaters (use caution with these to make sure that your connections are tight!)..
15 feet in length is suitable for most applications
color is neutral
Fellowes seems to be a reliable brand for power cables, based on several of these I've owned
CONS:
Price...I purchased these when Amazon had them for $10.90. I have seem them (the Fellowes brand in this length) elsewhere for $20.00 each PLUS shipping....I'd pay the $15 (current) price, but certainly not more.
I highly recommend this if you need an extension cord for a MAJOR appliance (or power strip supplying several items), and you want to stay safe (and grounded).

There's not much you can say about an extension cord. This is a quality cord. It's got a 90 degree angle plug so it sits more flush against the wall where it's plugged in. It's much heavier and thicker than your typical orange extension cord. The cord itself is flat rather than round.

Good, incredibly solid extension cord.
I purchased this product from amazon.com instead of at my local hardware store because I could not find an "extension cord" where the female end was on the END of the cord, vice the side of the end of the cord.
Extension cords aren't too tricky, but the placement of the ends/prongs are.
Recommend if you just need to EXTEND a cord, without having to make it extend at a right angle like most extension cords do...

I just got it and I am impressed. It is heavy gauge and high quality. In a shorter cord, I do have some 10 gauge yellow jackets, this is the best I have ever seen. It is great. I see no need to lit duty cords. This is just what I had in mind.. Buy it!
