LabelManager is a Label MasterFeb 09, 2008
By SuprGrvr I have 2, one at work, one for home, I use mine daily. Mechanically and software-wise, it just works well and does everything I need. I don't use any of the integrated MS Office software tools, but I haven't needed them. I never use it to manually type a label, always hooked to the PC.
I have a Brother Label Thing and I just hate trying to format and type on the little keyboard, I get 1 usable label for every 3 I print. The PC interface is a must...
I set the default size in the software to 3.5" and every project, piece of reference material, etc. gets a folder with a nice label. It's on my home network so the wife an I both use ours to label everything.
It's really helped me keep up with implementing GTD, David Allen's right, a nice label makes everything work better. And having an always on, always ready printer available from any PC in the house means I don't have a good reason not to just create the labels and folders as needed, no waiting... Label, folder, file, done!
It makes me happy.

Great Organizing ToolNov 18, 2011

This is a great tool for home or office. The unit is small and light enough to be highly portable, yet the qwerty keyboard is large enough to type reasonably efficiently. It does connect with PC if you choose, but for most jobs its easier to use the label maker keyboard. It will print multiple labels at a time and the memory is very convenient. I had the handheld type but it was more cumbersome and held fewer labels, so it didn't get used that much. There are a variety of label sizes and colors for the 450D (D1 labels). I purchased my label maker on Amazon in 2010 and its still going strong.

DYMO LABEL MANAGER 450Apr 15, 2010

I have a home office and sell parts in my business. I use my label maker to print labels for these parts.
I had an older version of the DYMO and upgraded to Windows 7. Needed a newer product for compatibility.
It is even easier to use than the old one.

After 6 years or so my other Dymo label make had the led display croak on me so I bought this one. This one has All the same features as my other one and a whole lot more including a PC connection this same model is available else were for about a hundred bucks here on Amazon it was only about $40.00. This is an easy to use yet complexly featured label maker and a great bargain! I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MODEL!
