This frame is an ideal choice for displaying your latest certificate of accomplishment. It marries stately looks and solid construction with low cost, resulting in an incredible bargain.
The frame itself is not actually made of wood, but is a very capable facsimile. Short of taking the frame off your wall and examining it carefully, the average visitor to your home or office should not notice that the frame is some sort of composite material with a wood appliqué. The quality of the materials is solid, the corner seams line up perfectly, and the backing material/stand is by no means flimsy. Also worthy of note is that the front pane is real glass, not plastic. (My first frame arrived with a broken pane but Amazon replaced it immediately and easily, NO HASSLE! I clicked "return" online and set the box on my doorstep for UPS to pick up- that's it! I didn't even have to print a return label.)
The product is identical to the image provided by Amazon. The "rosewood", as the name implies, has a deep burgundy tone. There is a solid black accent bar around the frame, which is fairly visible in the product picture. The main matte is also black, with a thin burgundy accent at the inner rim, also somewhat visible in the product photo. I used this frame for a crème-coloured certificate and the colours compliment perfectly.
I only had one small and easily-fixed problem. The back stand is thick and sturdy- great for displaying on a bookshelf. However, when mounting on a wall, it had a tendency to push one corner of the frame away from the wall, which was quite undesirable. Two pieces of scotch tape secured the stand and cured the issue entirely.
Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this frame. At ~$15 and free shipping at time of purchase, it was an absolute bargain as compared to spending far more on a "professional" frame job. And the quality of the look and feel will rival frames that sell for two and three times as much at a local store. I, for one, would gladly buy again.

I was wary of buying a frame online...I was very disappointed last time with a flimsy little plastic thing. This one is very classy. Beautiful wood, real glass. The mat is thin cardboard, but does the job. For the price, this is excellent.

This frame arrived broken due to poor packaging. But it's looking nice. Again it's broken so I can see what's inside. It's actually not a wood frame opposed to the description. It's made of some light material covered with a paint so it looks like a wood frame. But it's nice for the price and perfect for my diploma so I just ordered a replacement for it.
Update: I just got a replacement and it seems to be from a different batch. It is definitely heavier (so I would think the material is different, but I can not say it is wood), the labels are different, and it's packaged in an individual carton box. The packaging this time was good.

I got this for my degree that I got from the local college. This will be a pretty simple pro/con review from me.
Pros:
Looks nice
Hangs Easily
Came well packaged (with zero damage)
Fast shipping from Amazon
I have been complimented on it more than once
Feels made out of quality parts
Already matted, or you can take the matte out, entirely up to you.
Cons:
Degree moves around no matter what I do to "stuff" it in there to keep it from moving (adding the cardboard that came with it kinda sorta helped) I have to adjust it every few weeks to a month. This warranted me to drop a star from it just for the sheer fact that I have to tear it apart all the time.
In conclusion this is a pretty good frame (better than the frames I could find around here in the same price range at a local store and way better than the custom framing prices that shops wanted to charge) Worth the money if you ask me.
