I've never been a real fan of Belkin products - as they seem to show up in Retail Store where technology is second to marketing hype, but this product turned out to be pretty useful. The outlets were spaced well to allow the wall warts to occupy just one outlet and the standup design worked better than the all on one plane from the usual companies in the surge /battery backup business. The right angle plug was useful as well. In addition the standup design kept the wires off the floor and made for a nice neat installation.

I have been using this surge protector for 2 and a half years now. I got my 42-inch Vizio, Ooma, Wii, DVD player, amp, router, WDTV, all connected to this. It looks nice and certainly unique compared to other surge protectors out there. I also prefer white to the more common black or gray color. It is narrower that I can hide and place it behind the TV (I have to taped it securely on the table so it won't move).
All I can say, nothing bad has happened yet to any of my electronics. Happy and no complaints.

this is great. it's small enough and it gives you 4 outlets that are widely spaced for those bulky adapter plugs. i use this for my computer along with the other gadgets.

This is a nice looking surge protector that can sit out if needed (mine is due to cords that aren't long enough to tuck away). Performance seems pretty standard and I like the position of the outlets, though I used the top ones first.
Just What I NeededFeb 23, 2012

Recently had a new modem installed by my internet provider, and this one had a power adaptor rather than the regular plug on the older modem. This also meant I had no room to add it on my power strip which was already using a large adaptor for another device. This Belkin 8 outlet looked to be the solution, and it certainly is. I was also able to consolidate two other bulky adaptors that were in other wall outlets and not protected. Now, everyting is all together. Great product and fits the bill for me.
