Not perfect but really goodMay 13, 2007

Once you get the hand of the 6580, it does what is says. I find the LED instructions a little hard to read, you definitely need another tray, and the cartridges are way to expensive, but the features in the basic price are those of a $5,000 or more machine. The networking features are great. I would definitely recommend this over its little brother the 6550.

Duplex Faxing doesnt work wellApr 06, 2008

I bought this machine hoping I could easily fax two sided medical records, to save time and effort in my medical practice. The path the faxed document has to travel requires steep turns and bends, precluding anything but plain flexible paper. Its a shame, since it would have saved enormous effort in my front office. If I had bought it at staples locally, for more money, I would have used their return for any reason guarantee and taken it back. Other stuff on machine work OK.
