Nice calendar notebookFeb 05, 2010

This calendar notebook is nice, but keep in mind it is larger than portable size holders that are for the spiral-bound refills. This one takes up more room on my desk, is heavier, and it is a little difficult to train it to stay open on my desk. It wants to "raise up" and partially close when I place it opened on my desk. However, with lots of bending back . . I am getting it to stay open better. It is well made and of high quality.

A very nice looking and affordable product. The only drawback is it does not want to lay flat. I hope this improves with use.

Too bad this planner has a major fault....it won't stay open or close all the way. Shouldn't have purchased it.

"lifelong learner"
I usually get Day Runners - this is the first time I've gotten a Day-Timer instead. My least favorite thing about it is that it's kind of stiff - when placed on a flat surface, it doesn't stay open. Maybe that will get better with time. The front section where I keep cash and credit cards is not the most convenient I've ever had: the flap is too tall, making it hard to access the cash, and there is only one pocket for cards, so I only keep the most frequently used ones there and the rest in one of the plastic pocket things.
I like having a week shown on two pages, but this organizer had some different arrangement. I swapped out those pages, copied my contacts over to the new ones, and it works fine for now.
