Best deal, great fit for business cardsJan 02, 2012

Universal laminating pouches are currently by far the best deal for business cards laminating pouches on Amazon. However their width dimensions were slightly smaller than the other better known brand names and I was a little concerned about the fit. I figured I might have to trim my business cards if they don't fit right. However, the fit is perfect!
I am attaching a collage of two photos to illustrate the fit.
1) The first photo shows my business card in the sleeve next to the stack of sleeves you get. I put the reflection on the corner of the sleeve so you can see how much clearing the sleeve has around the business card.
2) The second photo shows the business card in the sleeve on top of the ruler with 1/8 of the inch grid marks, so you can see the grid through the edges of the sleeve. The business card in this photo was a not laminated yet, that is why the appearance of the sleeve is somewhat smokey. Once it is laminated it is totally clear.
Note:The text on the business card was blurred for the photo, blurriness is not caused by the sleeve.
The sleeve worked very well in my Scotch Thermal Laminator 15.5 Inches x 6.75 Inches x 3.75 Inches, 2 Roller System (TL901), and I recommend these pouches as a good deal.

I use these pouches to laminate business cards I use as ID cards for our local food pantry. They're great. They seal without any problems, produce a nice card that isn't flimsy and are crystal clear.

I bought these to laminate a set of work ID cards and they did a great job. Using a Scotch TL901 laminator (bought from Amazon), I had no problems at all with these 5 mil pockets. One thing I did notice is that they are fairly narrow and may not completely cover wide cards. For standard business cards, they will work fine though.

I thought I'd give these a try considering the price vs. the 'national brand'. I wasn't disappointed and I'd buy them again (if I ever run out - with a pack of 100).
I compared them side by side (to the national brand) as I still had a few of the other brand left. They are a little thicker, it's noticeable but not all that much on something this small. The larger sizes it's probably more noticeable. As some people noted they are a little smaller than other brands. It's not much of an issue for me but if you do need more overlap for some reason be aware of it. You can fit a regular business card in them just fine.
I've used them with both a Scotch Laminator and a GBC Laminator with no problems.

Very good product. The pouches fit the normal business card format that I use. They burn together really well. No cons that I can speak of.
