This is a dayrunner, it does what dayrunners do. I like it. Good size, good quality, no complaints. Just a heads up - the description says it bends, which means if you are expecting a firm cover, don't buy it. The cover bends kind of like a magazine does. I like this feature, but some may not if they want to use it as a writing platform during a meeting.

THIS WAS A GIFT FOR A COLLEAGUE AT WORK. SHE HAS A BUSY LIFE AND HAS LOTS OF APPOINTMENTS TO KEEP UP WITH FOR HERSELF AND HER DAUGHTERS. THE PLANNER HAS A SOFT LEATHER COVER AND HAS AN ELEGANT BUCKLE/STRAP THAT SNAPS TO KEEP THE PLANNER CLOSED. IT HAS THREE POCKETS ON THE INSIDE FLAP, ONE OF WHICH ZIPS FOR SECURITY. IT HAS CREDIT CARD SLOTS, BUSINESS CARD SLOTS, AND A RULER THAT HAS 3 HOLES PUNCHED IN THE SIDE SO IT STAYS IN THE BINDER. YOU CAN USE THE RULER LIKE A BOOKMARK...IT HAS A TAB AT THE TOP THAT SAYS "TODAY". THE DATE PAGES HAVE A GENERAL VIEW AND A DETAILED VIEW, AND THERE ARE NOTE PAGES AFTER EACH MONTH LIKE "THINGS TO DO IN JANUARY", ETC. ALL IN ALL, I THINK MY FRIEND REALLY LIKED THE PLANNER AND I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY.

I was designing my own planner pages and looking for a binder to hold them when I came across this one. It's got everything I could ask for - lots of pockets of all sizes, a zippered pouch, a tablet of extra note paper in back, a snap in bookmark to mark the current day, two pen holders, etc. I threw out the planner pages that came with it but they seemed pretty good too - monthly and daily pages, to do checklists, expense records, address book, etc. Been using it a month now and not a single complaint. It's great to have a more professional looking planner that I can use year after year.
