4Heavy Duty, Huge, and a little wobblyMar 02, 2011
By Scott Bryant
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1U3PVH7H5UNDB This keyboard tray is humongous. There is way more than enough room on it for a keyboard and mouse. With the keyboard on it, there is plenty of room to move the mouse around. There is an option to decrease its size by 1/3, but that would limit it to keyboard only.

The articulating arm is made out of some heavy duty metal. The tray is made out of plastic, but there is a metal brace that you attach to the bottom of the tray. The articulating arm attaches to the metal brace and keyboard tray.

The tray is a little wobbly, but is only really noticeable when you type on the number pad. I can live with the wobbly due to price point and function of the articulating arm. The wobble seems to come from the looseness of the of travel slide that the articulating arm moves in. Maybe that can be modified.

Bottom line. For the price, this is an excellent buy.

I have had the keyboard tray for 8 months now and I have some additional thoughts on this keyboard tray.
- I highly recommend that you add super glue to the retaining plastic retaining nuts that go on the bolts that allow the articulating arm to pivot. You will find these plastic nuts on the floor one day and not know what they go to and may end up throwing them away. Without the nuts the bolts start to back out which would make the articulating arm fall apart. With super glue added, the bolts never start backing out.
- I like to brace the keyboard tray on my thigh or one arm of my chair to stop the tray from wobbling.
- I still love the keyboard tray. I really like that the articulating arm allows me to stow it under my desk when not in use.

5Exactly what I needed at a good priceDec 16, 2009
By A. Rhode
When I ordered this item, most of the people in my office were already using one of these trays. They seemed to work perfectly fine, and this was a lot cheaper than some of the better-reviewed options. I've now been using the tray for about 6 months and I'm happy with it. It's wide enough to fit my keyboard and mouse, though you can opt to make it only long enough for the keyboard. The mount and adjusting parts are all made out of sturdy metal. The tray itself is plastic but it's reinforced with metal underneath. The tray adjusts well. I like the little groove in the top for the wrist rest.

During regular use, I don't feel like the tray is wobbly at all. If I push on it, then it will move a bit. I usually rest my hands on it, but I don't lean on it. If you lean on the tray with your elbows a lot, then you would probably want a different kind of tray (something reinforced on both ends).

The mouse pad and wrist rest they provided are pretty cheap. I replaced the wrist rest right away, and I will probably be replacing the mouse pad too.

Nothing has particularly wowed me with this tray, but it performed perfectly adequately for a good price. For something like this, that's all I need.

3Functional but a bit flimsyOct 14, 2008
By J. Ryan
This keyboard tray is definitely functional & I'm not returning it, but I was surprised that is doesn't feel very sturdy. It does adjust to my comfort, it pivots right & left, it slides under the desk & fits my mouse on the tray - all things I was looking for, so I am happy with that. It was easy to put together & install. But I was disappointed that, at $85, it wasn't more sturdy.

4It's ok overall, wobble needs fixing, directions need revampingJan 09, 2012

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R38R0CUH68CP1L If put together correctly, it'll work just fine. There is a wobble in the arm support, and the directions are vague and leave you having to guess a few things. Overall, it'll work for me.

5Great for my home office!Sep 15, 2011
By Samantha Hernandez
Do not be fooled by the video as I was though, you will require tools to put this monster together and attach it to your desk! Perhaps that was naive of me but the video does say something about no tools.

When the item arrives you will piece together the third board to make it big enough to house a regular keyboard and a mouse. The tray is very large and leaves you with a lot of space to make yourself comfortable. The instructions aren't the clearest thing in the world, but I got through it eventually. You have to drill the bracket into the underside of your desk and then slide in the completed tray and install the stoppers to be ready to use it. I don't think I would have gotten this task completed on my own, it is all pretty heafty and I'm glad I had my husband to do the drilling etc.

The tray itself is a touch shakey on the every sides, but it is really not something you notice during normal operation. I find it to be very study and comfortable to use, although it did take my wrists/hands/fingers a little bit of time to readjust to the new position after having been typing on a high up laptop for quite some time.

The keyboard wrist platform is comfortable and the mousepad and rest are both thin strips of foam. I don't use the mouse a whole lot, so they will do for now, but if you are a heavy mouse user you might want to get your own mousepad and wrist rest.

I love the versatility of this tray, the adjustments that you can make are quite considerable and for the price I am very impressed.

As a professional transcriptionst, this tray was a life safer, and a way to keep my current desk. I didn't like any of the desks that were available on the market today, and I'm sure none of them would have provided the comfort this tray has.
