motor makes strange soundAug 07, 2010

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RUZ5P5LMKOZII I had the fan for almost a month. When I turn the power switch you can hear the motor make a strange sound and the best way I can describe it is this way; if you ever heard the sound a electric hair clipper makes when first turned on only 3 times louder. I hope this ain't a sign that it's about to break.

By M. Ortiz this fan has three speeds and on an 85-90 degree temperature outside all you need it the low speed thats how powerful it is. i'm happy with it. the only problem is the motor is alittle loud but you get used to it. its not that bad.

Patton Fans Are The Very Best!!Sep 01, 2007

I already have one of these Patton fans and am ordering a second to complete my air cooling and circulation needs-I have no AC-just Patton fans I have been using for many, many years! They pay for themselves with their cooling and long lasting durability and the Patton guarantees! My first 20" Patton fan lasted 27 years before I had to replace it with the new 20"...now I am getting the second one! Thank You Patton Fans!!
Lots of WindJul 02, 2011
By D. Wingert Well, I owned one of these fans and it quit after about 7 years, I loved it! Seems that the manufacturer has made it cheaper than the older ones, it looks almost the same. Something told me to keep my old blade just in case the new one breaks, well it was so worped it vibrated like crazy, it was easier to put on the old blade than it would have been to return it. You might as well throw away the rubber trim on the base, it will not stay on unless you glue it and that won't last long. I don't think I would buy another one.
